The Labor Department announced this morning that the U.S. economy added
126,000 new jobs in October after a revised gain of 125,000 in September for
a total of 286,000 new jobs since August.

The economy is responding to President Bush's pro-growth economic policies
and all signs point to a strong recovery. Last week's third quarter GDP
announcement showed the fastest pace of economic growth in nearly twenty
years.

Recent economic data is encouraging, but there is still work to be done. The
President will not be satisfied until everyone who wants a job has one.

President Bush is working closely with members of Congress to encourage them
to take action on his six-point plan for economic growth. Congress needs to
make progress on these important priorities, including energy legislation,
making health care more affordable, opening new markets to American
products, and reducing the lawsuit burden.

Hey Cheo the Dodo, where do you get this crap that I despise Puerto Ricans?
Prove it. I live in an area where with a substantial number of Puerto
Ricans. Many I would guess are very decent and hard working folks, law
abiding and friendly. Just because I wrote that a Quack in your newsgroup
could go smell the toxic "shits" of his "beloved" island of Vieques does not
make me a person that despises Puerto Ricans. The Quack, "Pedro Navaja",
was the first to allude to Vieques being a toxic quagmire, not me (read his
post). Believe what you want to believe, señor; however, you have to prove
that I despise Puerto Ricans. You'll end up eating your fucking words. If
anyone in the PR Society NG hates anyone it's a certain sector (which you
probably are a member of) of Puerto Rican ideologist that are the racists

they, including you, are a very miniscule minoirty. And what the fuck does

That doddering dodo, Cheo, is none other than the infamous nattering ninny
known as "J R-S" (Jaime Rivera-Sierra) in disguise. His regular handles are
still convalescing from some very severe e-beatings at the hands of almost
everyone who's tried to engage in a rational tete-a-tete with the cockeyed

Or Jaime the Dullard? Hell, even his own "father", who writes him "letters"
as "El Diablo" (The Devil), calls him "Dummyen" and pines about his "son"
not turning out like The Omen's Damien.

He and his ideological buddies think that everyone who disses them is either
a Peter "Pitin" Miller (whom they swear I am) or one of two mysterious
former tormentors, known only as JF and JS-P (whom Jaime thinks YOU are).

They accuse them of all kinds of imaginary misdeeds (reason why the asshole
called you a "pervert") and gloat about their imaginary misfortunes.

It's a real situation comedy, man! It's just that "you have to be there" to
really get it! It's hilarious and has provided me with countless hours of
entertainment!

I hope this short briefing helps you understand why "J R-S" has made thinly
veiled threats about "jail time" and Cheo labels you with nonsensical and
unsavory adjectives.

Later!

Who are JF and specifically JS-P? He believes I am JS-P? Why? Jail time?
I don't think Jaime has a clue as to who I am. I just dropped in here by
chance because of all the cross-posting by "torresD". I decided to stay and
visist once in a while because of the amusement I find here. In previous
Jaime posts he has said I know Spanish and has addressed my posts in
Spanish; however, I don't understand much Spanish except for Adios, Amigo,
Señor, Señora, Corona, Mañana, Siesta, Cerveza, Bacardi, etc. Corona is my
favorite word.

That is why your keyboard has the ñ in it. You don't even put ~n, nn, like
other people nor you use other way.

Meaning that you know exactly how to write the ñ which is nowhere in the
English alphabet.

Hey amigo, try pressing the Alt key and hold it down while you key in the 1,
the 6 and then the 4, all in that order.. It will surprise you when you see
what comes up. I am not as dumb as you. You are the dodo bird. here. I
also happen to know that the squiggly line (~) is called a "tilde". Does it
surprise you that someone other than a native Spanish speaker knows a little
something about your language? ÑñúóáfP¥£¢ÜÖÿùûòöôÆæ. I could go on and on
pressing the Alt key and a different series of numbers, but I'll let you
play with your keyboard, and while you are at it you can play with your ying
yang too. Try it Jaime, try it little boy. Learn the capabilities of
Microsoft. I have no key on my keyboard that shows "ñ". That's why I
don't write ~n or ny for the ñ, I know the commands to write the ñ. It's
Alt, 1, 6, 4. And yes, you are correct, there is no ñ in the English
language just like there is no "w" in Spanish. Guess how I learned that
one? A little bird told me eons ago that the Spanish alphabet had 28
letters whereas the English language has but 26. I am a trivia expert,
buddy boy.

Main Entry: til·de
Pronunciation: 'til-d&
Function: noun
Etymology: Spanish, from Medieval Latin titulus tittle
Date: circa 1864
1 : a mark ~ placed especially over the letter n (as in Spanish señor sir)
to denote the sound \ny\ or over vowels (as in Portuguese irmã sister) to
indicate nasality
2 : the mark ~ used to indicate negation in logic and the geometric relation
"is similar to" in mathematics

From what I can see above, which by the way I copied from an online
dictionary, I conclude that the Grand Canyon should be written as Grand
Cañon. Is that correct? Cool! It does say above in the definition of tilde
that the n with the tilde over it denotes the sound of the "ny". Am I
right?

It's a long and convoluted story and I'm not privy to the details, amigo,
but this what I gathered from doing some research in Google's records, after
our resident quack and his pals started calling me "Jimmo" (JS-P) and later
"Pitin". It's all in the public domain, so I'm not revealing any state
secrets, only that I'd rather not mention specific names, because their
bearers are not actively posting in SCPR anymore, to the best of my
knowledge.

JS-P, JF and PM are former NG members. These three fellows were legendary
for e-kicking the Quack's, the Dodo's and associated cronies' asses all over
SCPR.

Anyway, it seems like the Dodo threatened JF with bodily harm and apparently
intended to follow through, because they found directions to the guy's
address in his office computer. He was terminated from his job because
of that and some other workplace violations of authorized computer use
policies.
.
From what I speculate (and I must stress "speculate"), it seems like the
Quack, the Dodo and/or their cronies tried to get their revenge (I wouldn't
put it past them). According to them, they've succeeded and JSP is "in
trouble with the feds and/or his employers and/or is unemployed" and JF
supposedly "got thrown out of his doctoral program and/or is unemployed",
etc., etc. All a lot of nonsense, if you ask me. Specially coming out of the
Dodo, who has created a mythological world to rival Tolkien's, as cunningly
suggested by the Quack, who is the ringleader, agitator and puppetmaster.

Fast forward to the present. These morons (Quack, Dodo and Co.) are now
convinced that PM, JF and JS-P are still posting under assumed handles (e.g,
yours and mine). The Dodo told torresD that you are JS-P and a weirdo who
posts as "redflag" even went so far as to write an essay titled "Peter
Miller es Jorobillo"! Go figure! Both posts are in Spanish, of course, but
here are the Google Groups' references:

Your are JS-P:
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&frame=right&th=4951f264d17bad4&seekm=XUtnb.56343%24h47.17465%40bignews4.bellsouth.net#link17

I am PM:
http://groups.google.com/groups?dq=&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&frame=right&th=a061596d5aeda2a9&seekm=356350be0c9071af9f13108ea2f3f4b8%40news.teranews.com#link1

I enjoy needling these yahoos for laughs, because they are such a bunch of
pompous buffoonish asses. Naturally, they resent not being taken as
seriously as their inflated egos demand. It might not be nice on my part,
but it sure is a lot of fun!

So, welcome to these morons' mythology, my fellow phantom!

It's actually 2.4 million jobs (as of October 2003) lost since March
2001 . . . so we have 126,00 more, do the math . . .

UNDERSTANDING THE SEVERITY
OF THE CURRENT LABOR SLUMP

by Lee Price with Yulia Fungard

http://www.epinet.org/briefingpapers/146/epi_bp146.pdf

Many observers of the labor market have underestimated the severity of
the current labor slump by
focusing on the unemployment rate and the gains in real hourly wages. In
fact, the current slump is
setting records for severity in terms of sustained loss of jobs, the
increase in labor market slack, and the
decline in aggregate wage and salary income.
A number of factors must be considered in order to understand the
severity of the current labor
slump:
• The record length of time that jobs have failed to recover—Prior to
the current slump, jobs had
never fallen over a two and a half year period since monthly job numbers
began in 1939. As of
October 2003, payroll jobs had fallen by 2.4 million below the level of
March 2001.
• The growth in the working age population since the recession began in
March 20011—Even as
jobs were shrinking by 1.8%, the working age population (i.e., the
number of people of working
age) was growing by 3.4%. Had job growth kept up with working age
population growth over that
period, 6.9 million more payroll jobs would have been filled in October
2003.
• The effect of the “missing” labor market on the unemployment rate—The
unusually prolonged
loss of jobs has caused an unprecedented number of people to refrain
from actively looking for
work, and therefore to be excluded from the unemployment measurement.
Had the labor force
grown more in line with the population—as it has in past labor
slumps—another 2.3 million people . . .

Check this study out . . .

Sindical y Laboral.

You just don't get it, do you? Are those manufacturing, service

None of the above. It means that 126,000 people, most of whom were
unemployed in the U.S, received a round trip ticket to Iraq.

And as for your comment: Fact: China's economy is at the mercy of the
USA... 1.2Billion Chinese consumers disagree with you. There is no point

Also, the mere fact that the Chinese have the largest number of people
wearing uniforms, does not make them the most powerful armed force in the
world. The logistics just aren't there. If I'm not incorrect, I think
Saddam had more men in uniform than the US Army did/does.

Actually, Vietnam was a proxy and client of the former USSR (and you know
what happened to them (see Cold War: Loser). China, btw, invaded Vietnam in
'79 (just to show you how friendly the two countries were).

No doubt...it was that toughness against the weak that made a small

free when they were being threatened by those piss-weak Germans and of

You crack me up.

Korea doesn't have food for its own people and in any war with us the poor
bastards would eventually start dying of hunger and start freezing to death
when the winter sets in. No doubt about it, they would do a lot of damage to
Seoul because Seoul is within range of the North Korean artillery; however,
they would succumb in a matter of weeks. This is not 1950. As for the N.
Viet-Namese, they outlasted us because they had no place to go. We won
most all of the battles, but where it counts, they outlasted us and the rest
is history. No one says we don't bleed, we do, it's just that we make the
others bleed a hell of a lot more and more profusely. In over 10 years we
lost 58,000 + men in Viet-Nam, we built a memorial to those poor souls, but
how many squats did we put away forever? Ask Uncle Ho or Gen Giap about
the hurt we put on them. They won't tell you, they are dead. It is
estimated that over 1.1 million North Vietnamese Army and Viet-Cong were
killed. That number doesn't take into account the ones that we maimed
forever. War is hell, they ultimately took over the entire country but at a
huge loss of bodies.

Any complaints by you, that I learn of, against me that can ultimately be
proven to be frivolous by me, will be challenged in a court of law whether
it be a federal court of law or a state court of law. That is a promise and
not a threat. Remember that! Before you go out and do something stupid, I
suggest you think back where you have posted in the past and think what you
posted. Remember, you have been all over the place and not just in
soc.culture.puerto-rico. You have posted in soc.culture.cuba; us; politics;
and others. Your mistake was that you were so arrogant that you posted
under a certain name, possibly your real name, I don't know.

If you didn't know it, the primordial rule of newsgroups is not to use your
real name. You possibly broke that rule and now you are concerned and now
you post under many pseudonyms. IMO there is nothing wrong and almost
everything right in using pseudonyms. Remember, however, that you can be
traced by your ISP.

I suggest that you also remember what "public domain" means. Public domain
is the realm embracing property rights that belong to the community at
large, are unprotected by copyright or patent, and are subject to
appropriation by anyone.

A person with the pseudonym "Jorobillo" recently wrote this which I cut and
paste here for your convenience to read, if you hadn't done so already:
''''""Anyway, it seems like the Dodo threatened JF with bodily harm and
apparently intended to follow through, because they found directions to the
guy's address in his office computer. He was terminated from his job because
of that and some other workplace violations of authorized computer use
policies.""''''....... I have no clue whether that is true or not. But say
that it is true, and if it is, you then are somewhat reckless and like to
skirt the limit.

IMHO, if anyone should be concerned about stretching the legal limits it is
the people like you. A word of advise to the wise, don't push the envelope.

I hope you can sleep tight tonight. I will.

We shall see who the loser is. Seems you already lost once from what

Any complaints by you, that I learn of, against me that can ultimately be
proven to be frivolous by me, will be challenged in a court of law whether
it be a federal court of law or a state court of law. That is a promise and
not a threat. Remember that! Before you go out and do something stupid, I
suggest you think back where you have posted in the past and think what you
posted. Remember, you have been all over the place and not just in
soc.culture.puerto-rico. You have posted in soc.culture.cuba; us; politics;
A person with the pseudonym "Jorobillo" recently wrote this which I cut and
''''""Anyway, it seems like the Dodo threatened JF with bodily harm and
apparently intended to follow through, because they found directions to the
guy's address in his office computer.
Seems you already lost once from what
"Jorobillo" wrote.
By the way, I know what is eating at you.

As far as I know, you are the only one that is being investigated. If you
are not who I think You are, then, Why are you so upset? scared I shall say.
Second, What did I say that triggered your nevious system? Don't worry, I
am totally inofensive unless you mess with my family. Are you trying to
mess with my people?
Look at the two that placed the complaint, one was fired for doing what he
is trying for you to do. Yeah, the same person the wants you to cyberstalk
me was fired for doing just that, is not difficult to see that you are being
manipulated. That is the reason I sent my message in Spanish dumb fuck.
You, well, although I think I know who you are, lets leave it there, one
word from any of my online utilities that you are searching for any
information pertaining me or anyone I care about, I will become your worst
nightmare, in court I mean, I don't want you to start crying. You as much
as put my name in google, and my ISP will let me know. I already placed a
watch on your IP because you threatened me. If you are who I think you are,
then I will drop all the charges because your life is miserable as it is.

This Dodo Cheo/J R-S is a complete and utter moron, who just doesn't learn

Everything I told you is documented in Google Groups and in the case's
public record at the agency he used to work for.

BTW, it seems like he's been watching too many computer hacking oriented
movies ("The Net", "Wargames", etc.)!

For example, he wrote: "You as much as put my name in google, and my ISP

That's pure unadulterated bullshit!

Never mind the absurdity of an ISP infringing on a surfer's rights at the
behest of some lame-brained nobody, there's no way it can monitor another
ISP's subscriber to see if he/she is doing a particular Google search!

The Net just doesn't work that way. It's ludicrous!

The Dodo is nothing but a sad sack and a clown. Don't take him seriously, I

Sorry Bubba, not always true. I know that for a fact. Not all libraries
and other public places have the stringent controls that you believe they
have. When was the last time you saw the inside of a library? Many hotels
and motels provide uncontrolled access to the Web, don't believe it? Check
into one and see for yourself. (You love to pontificate, don't you?)

Sorry Bubba, I wouldn't know, I don't go to Internet Cafes, I go to Internet
Bars where there are no bars on how to access the Net.

Listen, I am trying to stop you from doing something stupid, look at your

Hey Bubba, you are a joke. I am the one trying to keep you from doing
something REAL stupid. So you think you know who my friends are. Who are
they, tell me.. I'd like to know who my new friends are and above all I am
really curious about that bilingual secretary that you mentioned below. Is
it a woman? If it is, do you know her? If you do, is she good looking? If
it's a "guy" secretary you can keep him to yourself if you so desire. I'm
not a switch hitter.

This advice is in case you are not the bilingual secretary from Puerto
Rico. > If you are that scumback, you can just go ahead.

Secretary? What secretary from Puerto Rico? You are hallucinating again.
And it is not "scumback", get your terms right, it's "scumbag". What's the
matter you haven't yet mastered the spelling of your family name?

--------------------------------------------
Post by Cheo "El Artesano"
Now, if I did get fired because a threatening message, Why am I still free
and happilly employed?
Goody goody for you, you are still employed! I don't have a clue, are you
still employed? Guess that you must be one of those lucky 126,000 that got
jobs this past month. Are you self employed? You posted here that you
work at home, didn't you? By the way, "happily" is not spelled "happilly".
Oh yeah, usually when people are terminated from a job they are not
imprisoned and they usually end up getting another job, sometimes changing
oil at Quick Lube or bagging groceries at a supermarket, or exercising
quarter horses at the track, etc.

----------------------------------------
Post by Cheo "El Artesano"
Last, Which false accusation I made? If you read back, you have nothing
on > no one, in the other hand, I have you where I wanted you. You did make
an > accusation and made a threat. lol

You are hallucinating again.. You are the one threatening here. You seem to
think that you have something on everyone. Get you facts right, Bubba.
Seems you have it in for someone that you cannot identify and you think that
I am that someone, so I suggest you be careful with your accusations.
Vorsicht: Be careful with false accusations! You don't want them to come
back and bite you in the butt. Get your facts straight, buddy boy. Think
again genius, you are no Sherlock Holmes or Dick Tracy. I suggest you go
bark up another tree, because you are barking up the wrong one.

It will behoove you to read this::::: When you are looking for something
that is not where you are looking, you are "barking up the wrong tree."
Example: "I know you think I stole your umbrella. But really, I don't have
it. You are barking up the wrong tree." You are like a dog that is barking
up at a tree that has nothing in it. This may also mean trying to find the
answer to some problem by using the wrong approach. Example: "I have been
trying to solve this one problem for an hour. I really do not know how to do
it." Reply: "Yes, I can see that. You've been barking up the wrong tree."
You are "barking up the wrong tree" when you are trying to find something,
but you are looking in the wrong place.

One last note, your knowledge of the English language grammar, spelling,
syntax, etc., is atrocious. You can't spell and you are mostly incoherent
and like to obfuscate the facts and yourself.. Are you drunk?

Que va! Eso lo escribi en meros minutos. Ya se te alivio la quemazon? Me

58,000 of us dead to 1,100,000 dead NVA and VC. We won, Dodo.
Only a moron would use that as an argument.

In your child's mind you percieve war to be a sort of video game
in which your virtual victims are merely numbers to be tallied up
at the end of the day.

The numerical difference in the number of casualties is no indicator
of final victory for one side or the other. If that were so, then
we could argue that Germany won WW2. After all,Germany managed to
inflict more casualties on every other side than what they themselves
sustained.

As with Germany in WW2, the only thing the US demonstrated in Vietnam
was its efficiency in killing innocent people.

But if the Americans won in Vietnam, why is it that they don't have
a military presence there? Those are the sort of "tallies" you ought
to be considering.

Let me tell you this: The U.S. is going to lose in Iraq; just like it
lost in Vietnam. I expect that when that day comes you'll be claiming
it was a resounding victory based on the number of dead Irakies versus
dead Amnericans, most of them innocent people either deliberately killed
or caught in the crossfire.

No sorry fuckhead, the North Vietmanese had significantly more land AFTER

That means you lost a significant amount of ground, in fact only a small

just as right now you are doing with the Irak issue...
but this would be of no avail or result in any of your ednds or
agendas...this time the issue is bigger than what you may believe...
and until the whole region doesn't get the message there would be a war
against the fuc..ig fanatics and terrorists...
That's funny. You sound exactly like one of those 'fuc...g fanatics and
terrorists' you claim America ought to kill.

In reality, in the real world you guys claim to understand so well,
the motivation for Bush & Co's war in Iraq is purely commercial.
They control or are partners in corporations with vested financial
interests in Iraq. And that includes Bush's Saudi friends.

Idiots like yourself, martori, are unable to see the obvious connections.

Not quite. Redflag used a valid analogy when he wrote about the Germans

yet they lost the war.

Perhaps. But we're talking here about what really happened, not what you

Or do you seriously think that the U.S. would have gotten away with their

That's no surprise to anyone. Capitalism is now a totalitarian system. But
that fact does not change history; the U.S. lost the war in Viet Nam. The

The last time you went against China(In Vietnam) you guys lost. Yanks seem
to suffer from amnesia a lot when it comes to Vietnam for some reason.
I've also noticed you Yanks haven't touched North Korea, and they openly
admit they are building nukes and say they wouldn't have second thoughts
against using them against you... yet your president talks of "diplomacy"
and "talks" and "food shipments" with N.Korea. Your tough against the weak
countries, but piss-weak when it comes to countries that can fight back.
This is your legacy.

and why did we LOOSE ? You dont think that 2 atomic heads exploded at the
right place wouldve eneded that war in 3 weeks ?
We lost because the USA goverment succumbed to misguided internal pressures.
VietNam didnt defeat the USA, the USA defeated itself.
WAY different circumstances and technology in 2003, to wit the irak war.
Do you honestly believe that bombing the Vietnamese people with
nuclear bombs would have ended the war? I don't think so. I believe
that it would have made things much more difficult for the U.S.
It would have invited world-wide condemnation as well as direct
intervention by the U.S.S.R. and China.

But this notion that international conflict can be resolved with bombs
is a disturbing and dangerous idea. It is the same logic used by the
very terrorists our government claims to be fighting. If you truly believe
that the indiscriminate killing of civilians with guns and bombs is any
kind of permanent solution, then you're no better than Osama Bin Laden.

I remember when Nikita Khrushchev said, "We will bury you!" Now we can
attest to you on behalf of the Peoples Socialist Republic of China, the same
quote attested to Nikita. Amigo, China, under its present form of
government, social and economic systems, will not be able to bury the USA.
Also, the mere fact that the Chinese have the largest number of people
wearing uniforms, does not make them the most powerful armed force in the
world. The logistics just aren't there. If I'm not incorrect, I think

Hell, thanks for pointing that out. I forgot that the Korean war was not
fought in 1986. Are you a rocket scientist? Really, I thought you were
Audie Murphy reincarnated in that guard post knocking off all the gooks that
poured into South Korea from the north.

So you met all those celebrities at your guard post? Wow! Your guard post
must have been real big to accommodate all those folks. Did you shake hands
with them? Have you washed your hands since that time? Gloria Stephan, who
is that? Or do you mean Gloria Estefan? Were you aware that she is a
Cuban-American from Miami? How did it feel to meet a "gusano"? ( I found
out what you and others mean by "gusano" when you have posted here in the
past. I must say that is not very nice of you, calling people names.)

You know, when I was five I met Roy Rogers the "King of the Cowboys", but I
don't remember much about that time. My mommy told me about it, that's how
I know. At about the age of 7 I met Chuck and PT from the old TV program
"Whirlybirds", I remember that Royal Castle sponsored them on TV. Did you
know who Chuck and PT were? It was real cool meeting those celebrities.
They flew in their whirlybird early one morning to participate in the
inauguration of a new Royal Castle that was located near my house. They
landed their whirly bird right in the parking lot. It was so cool! I got
to shake their hands and thought it was the neatest thing since slice bread.
God, I can imagine how you must've felt when you met those celebrities in
your guard post. Did you tell your mommy about it? I bet you got promoted
to lieutenant right after that. Did you get a battlefield commission? I
know you must've been real excited. My dad met Tom Mix a long, long time
ago. If you didn't know, Tom Mix was a cowboy from the days of the silent
movies. My dad was thrilled, he was about 7 or 8, I don't remember. I bet
your daddy or grandaddy knew who Tom Mix was, ask them if they ever met
him..

You probably got that opinion from a John Birch Society pamphlet.

What Truman understood, and what seems to be way, way over your injured
head, was that no war could ever be won by the U.S. in China. What do you
think the effect would have been of using atomic bombs against the Chinese?

Only a fool would fail to arrive at the correct conclusion. Truman and his
people were no fools (Missouri, the 'show me state').

Yeah, and McArthur was relieved of duty by Truman for publicly proclaiming
that atomic weapons should be used against China. That's a mighty hefty
sword to rattle! Already there was a 'doctrine' called the "Truman doctrine"
that included the policy of containment. Definitely Truman was light years
smarter than Bush.

Using war history of the 1950 as grounds pinting to the inability of the
USA to win a war, right after the overwhelming defeat of Saddam is just one
assenine and desperate argument.

And if MY daddy can beat YOUR daddy that is just the breaks bud. I am pretty
sure Mike Tyson can beat your ass to a pulp the same way I am sure the USA
can turn the whole of North Korea into a a peaceful retreat for vultures.
